Weddings are my favorite events to shoot. A wedding photographer must be able to shoot portraits, fashion, food, architecture and events all while keeping the happy couple on their hectic wedding day schedule. It makes men of mice to say the least. One thing that made this wedding easier than most is that the bride is a photographer herself. Can you say free art direction. Kellie Sliwa is a good friend of mine from college. We both attended The Savannah College of Art and Design’s Photography Program together. So when she called and asked me to photograph her special day, I was so there! We meet up to begin our adventure at The Hair and Face Lounge where owner Karen Parsons rocked the up-dos! Great job on the hair to Karen and all the other stylists there, Kellie and the bridesmaids looked phenomenal!

It is a tradition in Kellie’s family for all the women to have a birds eye Bridal Portrait taken of them on their Wedding Day.

To the Church we go!

You think he is wondering if he just saw an Angel walking into the church?

Great shot of the Bride and her Father by assistant Ryan Long!
