Make-up artist Kelley Coleman is amazing! She called me up about a week ago and said she wanted to do a shoot with model Thandiwe with a spinal column painted onto the model’s back. When I arrived in Blacksburg and saw what Kelley had spent a large majority of her day working on, I was blown away! Kelley had painted a whole spine on Thandiwe’s back. It looked so real. Kelley lucked out because I happen to have my modified Canon IR (see previous post) Camera with me and we were able to shoot a few shots with the infrared camera. The concept was great Kelley, you rocked the vertebrates! After the body painting session we headed outdoors for some sunset action. Thandiwe was great to work with and knew her stuff. Photogs love people who have a natural ability in front of the camera. It makes our jobs so much easier. Thank you Kelley and Thandiwe, I think we got some great images!
