Recently I worked with Gordana Ban on a model’s session to build upon an already stellar portfolio.  Although she is just beginning her career, and I assure you she will have a career in modeling,  this girl is what I would call a natural.  Many models need direction and coaching to achieve that perfect shot, for Gordana this seems to be instinct.  Working with her was easy and relaxed yet very professional.  I really enjoyed our session together and look forward to watching this one rise to top!

Now we all know that a photographer and a model need that third magic ingredient…enter Medina Spreco!  Medina, a Bosnian master at the art of hair and makeup joined us for the shoot.  This is the first time I have worked with Medina but lets just say we found common ground very quickly.  She is an amazing artist and I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work with her.  By day Medina does hair at Salon del Sol and when she is not doing hair you can bet she is on set making a photographers job a lot easier.

It was an incredibly successful shoot and I am extremely happy with the results!  Gordana you were a pleasure to work with and Medina you rocked the hair and makeup!

Now for the eye-candy!

Andrew is an aspiring actor here in the valley and contacted me to update his head-shot portfolio.  He was fantastic to work with and had me laughing almost the whole time.  He became very animated once he warmed up and we had a great time shooting.  Andrew thank you for allowing me to work with you!

Rose was incredible to work with!  Some models know what to do to make my job easier and Rose is one of those models.  I met Rose at a local coffee shop in Lynchburg called The White Heart.  When I got there I decided to use it as our location for the shoot!  It had a lot of charm and many vantage points to shoot from.  It had a neat room in the back filled with books and I just felt like it would work.  Not to mention it was freezing outside so it was out of the question to shot outdoors.  Sometimes you have to use the environment you are given and sometimes it works and sometimes you MAKE IT WORK.  I think I got some good poses out of Rose and enjoyed the day.  Thanks for looking!
